Emergency Procedure — Open WaterFire Brigade Diver & Dive Team Leader
Keep your open-water emergency procedure sharp. In a single realistic practice day you train the complete response to a diver in distress — from reacting to the distress signal and deploying the standby diver to the first dive-medical check on shore.
What you train
Reacting to a distress signal and coordinating the rescue
Deployment as standby diver: descending along the signal line, inspecting and freeing
Supplementary air supply and the quick-release hook
Bringing the diver to the surface and to shore in a controlled manner
First dive-medical check, evaluation and aftercare
For whom
Registered fire brigade divers and dive team leaders. Suitable for SCUBA and surface-supplied (OLV) configurations.

Duration: 1 practice day · Norm: fire brigade diver 4× / dive team leader 4× · Counts towards the portfolio review (basic requirement).
