Test equipment underwaterin our diving facilities
Put your underwater tools and equipment to the test under realistic, controlled conditions — at depth, with experienced professional divers and full camera recording.
Your equipment, proven in the water
At BC-opleidingen, companies can have their equipment and tools tested underwater in a safe, controlled environment. From an initial functional check to a realistic trial at depth: our facilities and experienced professional divers make it possible.
You decide what needs to be tested; we help you design the best set-up and, if you wish, record the test on camera. That gives you a clear picture of how your equipment behaves underwater.
What can you have tested?
Virtually anything that has to function underwater. Common examples:
Underwater tools
Hydraulic and pneumatic tools: cutting, drilling, jetting and lifting equipment, tested under load and at depth.
Camera, ROV & sensor systems
Test and calibrate underwater cameras, ROVs, sonar and sensors under realistic conditions.
Housings & watertightness
Check housings, connectors and seals for watertightness and behaviour under pressure.
Diving & breathing equipment
Trial diving systems, demand valves, band masks and related gear in practice.
Our testing facilities
Three environments, from fully controlled to realistic fieldwork — we choose the right one together with you.

Dive pit up to 21 metres
An outdoor dive pit with a movable floor at 0, 9, 15 and 21 metres. This lets us set exactly the desired test depth — ideal for pressure and functional testing at depth.

Indoor pools with 22 cameras
In our dive tower we record every test with 22 fixed cameras at various depths. Perfect for visual inspection, analysis and a complete video report.

Open water on the Markermeer
For a trial under real field conditions — current, visibility and temperature as in practice — from our platform or training vessel.
ROV: testing and training
For unmanned systems we combine our facilities into realistic, measurable scenarios — from piloting in current to working with tools at depth, under controlled and repeatable conditions and with full camera registration.
ROV in current
Pilot and perform tasks in generated current, adjustable in m/s — test the limits of your ROV under realistic load.
ROV with tooling
A task with the manipulator or a tool, such as tightening a bolt or an inspection — proven before the real deployment.
Inspection at depth
ROV inspection in the dive pit to 21 metres or in dark water, with 22 cameras for a complete visual report.
Diver and ROV combined
Combined diver and ROV operations: training handover, cooperation and underwater communication.
