Privacy statement

For a registration: name, address, date of birth, email address and phone number. For a business (group) registration we also process the organisation and invoice details and the data of the registered participant(s) and their supervisor.

For fire-brigade courses we additionally request data required by the certifying bodies (such as country of birth and birth surname). We do not request this for civil courses.

Via the contact form: your name, email address, phone number and message.

We use your data to process your registration, organise your course and arrange your certification (performance of the contract), to communicate with you (legitimate interest) and to comply with legal obligations such as the tax retention requirement for invoices.

For statistics and user research (Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity, see above), your consent is the legal basis (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR).

Invoice and administrative data are kept for 7 years (statutory tax retention). Other personal data is kept no longer than necessary for the purposes stated above.

Session recordings via Microsoft Clarity are kept by Microsoft for 30 days by default (see above).

We share data only where necessary: with the independent examination/registration bodies (such as NDC-RI) for your certification, with our payment provider (Mollie) for online payments, with our email service to send confirmations, with our hosting partners, and with Microsoft (session recordings and heatmaps, only with your consent). We never sell your data.

We take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data. Our website runs entirely over a secure connection (HTTPS) and forms are protected against abuse.

We use functional cookies needed to run the site, such as remembering your language choice.

In addition, only after your explicit consent via the cookie banner, we use statistics and user-research cookies (Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity, see above) to see how the site is used; IP addresses are anonymised. You can change your choice at any time via 'Cookie settings' at the bottom of the page.

External content (such as a YouTube video, Facebook feed or Google Maps) loads only after you click it, so no cookies from those services are placed without your consent.

With your consent, we also use Microsoft Clarity to see how visitors use the site: mouse movements, clicks, scrolling behaviour, screen dimensions and a visual replay of your visit. This helps us improve the site's usability. Any data you type into forms is automatically masked and therefore not recorded.

This processing takes place solely on the basis of your consent, which you can withdraw at any time via 'Cookie settings' at the bottom of the page. The processor is Microsoft Corporation; for transfers of data outside the European Economic Area, Microsoft relies on the European Commission's standard contractual clauses. Clarity sets the cookies _clck (1 year) and _clsk (1 day); Microsoft's default retention period for session recordings is 30 days.

You have the right to access, correct, delete and transfer your data, and you may object to the processing. Contact us at info@bc-opleidingen.nl. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority.
