Combined DMB-B2 and DMT

This combined course lets you earn both the Duikmedisch Begeleider B2 (Dive Medical Supervisor B2, DMB-B2) certificate and the Diver Medic Technician (DMT) certificate in a single programme. Qualification in the Netherlands and internationally With the DMB-B2 certificate you are qualified to work as a dive medical supervisor on Dutch territory. With the Diver Medic Technician certificate you are qualified to provide dive medical care on international, offshore diving assignments carried out in accordance with IMCA guidelines. The DMT certificate does not grant qualification on Dutch territory. Course and examination You follow the Diver Medic Technician course, which covers the examination topics for both DMT and DMB-B2. You finish with two examinations: 1. Theory and practical examination Diver Medic Technician 2. Theory and practical examination Duikmedisch Begeleider B2 (Dive Medical Supervisor B2) After successfully passing the examinations you receive two certificates: 1. DMT certificate from BC-opleidingen (recognised by IMCA to deliver the course and conduct the examination) 2. DMB-B2 certificate from the certifying body that conducted the examination Validity Both certificates are valid for 2 years. From 8 weeks before until a maximum of 3 months after the expiry date you follow a refresher course and take the recertification examination — which at BC-opleidingen you can ALSO combine in a single course. Two certificates: DMT from BC-opleidingen (recognised by IMCA) and DMB-B2 from the certifying body. Both certificates are valid for 2 years.
