Refresher Course Diver Medic Technician (DMT)

BC-opleidingen is the only professional diving educator in the Netherlands to offer both the initial and the refresher DMT training. DMT is a certification recognized by IMCA and grants authorization for international, offshore diving assignments carried out in accordance with IMCA guidelines. The certificate does not grant authorization on Dutch territory. This course is taught entirely in English. BC-opleidingen is recognized by IMCA as a training provider for the DMT. Authorizations (dive medical support): • DMB-B1 (Duikmedisch Begeleider B1): diving work (Duikarbeid) in scopes A9, A15 and A15 OLV • DMB-B2 (Duikmedisch Begeleider B2): diving work (Duikarbeid) in categories A, B and C • DMT: international, offshore diving work (Duikarbeid) carried out under IMCA regulations The DMT exam is included. Excluding the textbook 'Diver Medical Technician: Care of the injured diver' (2018, Ronald Ellerman, ISBN 9781724978394) — to be purchased yourself, supported with learning materials in the online learning environment — and a study package with practice materials.

• You hold an IMCA-recognized offshore diving certificate, such as an IMCA-recognized Life Support Technician (LST), Duikploegleider (dive team leader) or Duikarbeid (diving work) • You hold a valid dive medical examination, in order to be able to enter a decompression chamber under pressure • Your current DMT certificate has been expired for no more than 3 months
