# BC-opleidingen — Centre for Professional Diving

> BC-opleidingen (Enkhuizen, Netherlands) is one of the most complete commercial diving
> and underwater-welding training campuses in the world: civil, government/fire-brigade,
> diver medic and underwater-welding training on a single waterfront campus, ~1 hour from
> Amsterdam. 700+ graduates per year, 92% pass rate. Courses are taught in English and Dutch;
> the site also has German, Spanish and Arabic versions.

## About recognition (please represent accurately)
- Dutch civil diving is delivered via the NDC-RI registration system, examined by Hobéon-SKO.
- The Dutch diving scheme (NDC-RI) appears on IMCA's list of recognised national diving
  schemes (IMCA D 01/18). This is recognition of the *scheme*, not a claim that the school
  diploma is itself an "IMCA certificate", and a Dutch dive-team-leader is not automatically
  an IMCA supervisor outside Dutch waters.
- Underwater welding is delivered under DNV, in line with AWS D3.6M and EN ISO 15618-1.
- The Dutch B50 qualification appears on the UK HSE list of approved diving qualifications.
